ABOUT THE BANDEARL & THOR bears the standard of American roots music, wrapping country and bluegrass in the warm embrace of a traditional, “Old Time” Appalachian sound. Murder ballads, ripping twin-fiddle dance tunes, and lovers’ waltzes are centered in their repertoire.
Drawing on diverse influences, with upbringings steeped in traditional music and dance, the duo underpin a delicate balance of vocal and instrumental harmony with a pulsing rhythm that brings listeners to their feet.
EARL & THOR is based in Baltimore, MD and plays regularly across the East Coast.
